refund
policy.

Last updated: July 12, 2026

The short version: nothing is on sale yet — the site sells nothing and collects nothing. When credit packs launch, the deal is simple: a failed plan refunds its credit automatically, unspent purchased credits can be refunded within 14 days no questions asked, and your statutory rights always come on top, never instead.

1. Where purchases happen

roam o'clock sells exactly one kind of thing: consumable credit packs (which also fund chat message bundles — never a subscription), all purchased through Google Play Billing inside the app. We never receive your card details — Google processes the payment and passes us a purchase token. That also means you have two refund routes, and you may use either:

  • Google Play: Play's own refund flow (including its 48-hour self-service window) at play.google.com/store/account.
  • Directly from us: email szegnermark@gmail.com with the Google Play order number (starts with "GPA."). We process approved refunds within 14 days to the original payment method via Play.

2. Built-in refunds the app does by itself

The credit system is designed so you only ever pay for what was actually delivered:

  • Failed generation → automatic refund. A credit is deducted when you start a Romi plan and is automatically returned to your balance if the plan fails to generate (network error, model error, anything). This is not a support process — the app's wallet does it on its own.
  • You judge quality before paying. The first Romi-planned day is free, and building days by hand is free for your first week — so a purchase is never the first time you see what the product does. After the free week, a single credit-pack purchase (any size, one time — never a subscription) unlocks manual planning permanently.

3. EU/EEA & UK: your 14-day right of withdrawal

Credits are digital content supplied without a physical medium. Under the Consumer Rights Directive you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, and here is precisely how it works with credits:

  • Unspent credits — full refund, 14 days, no reasons needed. If you bought a pack and haven't used it (or have used part of it), tell us within 14 days of purchase and we refund the unspent credits — for a fully unused pack, the whole price; for a partly used pack, the proportional remainder.
  • Spent credits are performed services. When you spend a credit, you expressly request immediate delivery of the planned day and acknowledge that, once delivered, the withdrawal right no longer covers that spent portion (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). The app states this at purchase — consent isn't buried here in the fine print.
  • No form needed. The credit sheet in the app has two one-tap routes — Google Play's order history, or a prefilled email to us. A plain email stating you withdraw is enough; a model withdrawal form is available on request. (And within about 48 hours of purchase, Google Play lets you refund yourself directly from order history without contacting anyone.)

4. What is not refundable

  • Free, earned, or promotional credits (starter grant, review rewards) — they have no cash value.
  • Credits voided for fraud or chargeback abuse under the terms' fair-play rules.
  • Third-party purchases made through links we open (restaurant reservations, GetYourGuide experiences, rides) — those are contracts with the third party, refunded under their policies.

Wind-down exception: if we ever announce a permanent shutdown (terms §7), unspent purchased credits become refundable during the entire notice window — no matter how long ago you bought them. The 14-day limit in §3 does not apply to wind-down refunds, and withdrawal or statutory refund requests for packs bought shortly before the shutdown remain honored even after the shutdown date.

5. No subscriptions — ever

roam o'clock is deliberately credit-based only: there is no subscription tier and none is planned. Every paid feature — day planning and, later, Romi's agent chat — spends the same credits, so there is nothing that renews, nothing to cancel, and no recurring charge to forget about.

6. Statutory rights stay untouched

Everything above is on top of — never instead of — your statutory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (Directive (EU) 2019/770). If credits you paid for don't work as described and we can't fix it promptly, you are entitled to a price reduction or refund by law, regardless of any window in this policy. Details on how we handle the underlying purchase data are in the privacy policy.

7. Contact

Refund requests, withdrawal notices, or anything unclear: szegnermark@gmail.com. Include the Play order number if you have it; if you don't, we'll figure it out together.
